Jackson's Concert

Friday was Jackson's Dance Concert at Meadow. He was so funny. Even though he has a hard time at school (learning is NOT his favorite thing to do...), he sure has rhythm! I thought the Kindergarten class did a great job. They danced to Tarzan (as you can see the monkeys on their heads). He had a lot of fun and did a great job.
And, on a side note, Dusty was gone all last week - what an adventure that was! We did okay, but he's never been gone for that long! We are sure glad to have him home.

And the Winner is...

First of all, last night was such a difficult night for me. Dusty has been out of town since Sunday, and things have been a bit crazy. Last night I was supposed to go the AF Band Banquet, but I chose not to. My heart has broken this past week by people I didn't think possible, so I decided to stay home. It was a hard decision since this would be my last banquet, but I felt I had to do it. And though I know I need to forgive and forget, that is easier said than done. I am just a very trusting, emotional person. So I take things very personal. I know that I must move on and make things right because this is effecting my entire family. And I also know that maybe I should have done things differently or maybe not put my heart out there to get hurt. But, things are done now and we must move on. I am sure this is another learning experience for me!

On a much happier note, I am SO glad I stayed home to watch American Idol. Dusty and I started watching American Idol on season 3 (and of course I am much more into it than he is). This year I have really gotten into it - more than ever. I thought that most of the singers were very good, but of course my favorite was David Cook. I just thought he was unique and had a very personal style.
Well, I didn't think he would win because David Archuleta was also very good and had a lot of fans. So, when the announced his name at the end I was so surprised - but SO happy for him.
So, I know I am a complete dork - but I guess we all have those guilty pleasures, huh! This just happens to be mine:) And, even after having a bad day, it made me smile at the end... Hurray!!

Miller Kids Update...

Here is video of Jack's birthday party at Boondocks. It was a bit crazy with 11 kids, but they had a lot of fun!!

And, here is Bree doing her favorite thing - singing! It's kindof hard to hear her (sorry), but it is really cute...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK!!

I can't believe that my baby turns 6 today (well, at 6:30 p.m.)! Wow, how time flies. I am so thankful that he is part of our family - he sure is the life of the party around here:)
Last night we had our family party. Dusty's sister Kari and her kids were there as well as his mom and sister-in-law Mallory with Ryker. Chade came too (his youngest brother) and three of Kami's kids (Hayden, Jada & Logan). And, his cousin Steven and his kids came - they recently moved to Saratoga Springs from Idaho and we love it when they make it to see us. They have a daughter Jack's age, so he likes playing with her.
My mom and dad came and Kass too - she really is part of the family now!! We were very thankful to have our family with us to celebrate his birthday.
Here are a few picts from last night:

Since today is Jack's actual birthday, we woke him up early and made him breakfast. We also let him open a few more presents. The first thing he told me before we opened presents was "I don't want any clothes Mom!", which is exactly what he opened:(

not so happy here opening clothes...

On a side note, when I went to wake up Bree this morning for breakfast, this is how I found her - that girl can sleep any which way...

"American Idol"

Some of my girls came over last Saturday to visit. We couldn't think of much to do until Dusty surprised me and brought home American Idol for the Wii. At first I was very apprehensive - I wasn't about to sing in front of anyone. Well, we ended up playing for almost 3 hours - it was hilarious!!!
My girls kept cracking me up - especially Jes. She is so dramatic. But, it was a great night and I was so happy spending time with my girls. Here are a few crazy pics...
