Colorado Trip

Dusty took me on a last minute trip to Colorado to see my Braves play the Rockies. But, most importantly, to see Chipper in his final year of playing ball. It was such a great game and I had a blast. The Braves won, after being behind by 6. Chipper had 5 RBI's. It was amazing. And it was pretty great spending the weekend alone with my hubby. We sure needed a break from reality!

Family Pictures

So, last Friday I decided we needed an updated family picture. The last time we took pictures was two years before Myles was born. I guess it was time.

Jordyn went with us and used my camera. We just went to the park by our elementary school. I think they turned out cute. Here they are:

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of you - especially to my amazing mother. I absolutely LOVE having her for a mom - and look up to her in so many ways. I am so thankful for all she does for me and my family.
Love you Mom.

I am also very grateful for my mother-in-law, Pam. She raised the most important man in my life - and she is an amazing grandmother to my kids. I hope she has a great Mother's Day as well - love her too!

Disneyland (again!)

Me and my mom decided to take a trip to California to go to a WGI regional, and stop on the way at Disneyland. Well, we ended up doing 3 days of Disneyland and 2 days of the regional. My kind of vacation!!
Two of my good friends/staff went with us. We had such a great time. We went the third week of March - I'm still pretty behind on updating, I know...

Here are some pictures of our trip.

Rose Parade

So, I'm still trying to play catch up. This is one of my busiest times, so I guess that's why I'm so behind.

Anyways, my group was invited to the rose parade this year. We left on December 28th and didn't get home until the 3rd of January. Since the 1st was a Sunday, the actual parade wasn't until the 2nd.

Anyways, I was able to take Bree with me. Pam went with John, so she had her grandma there to help! We had a great time. I loved having Bree there - and I had a great time with my girls. We were able to go to Disneyland for 2 days. It was so busy!! But, I would never give up the chance to go to Disneyland. I had to take Bree home early every night because she was exhausted!

I also was able to go to a few Rose Parade breakfasts with John. They were pretty amazing. They sure know how to take care of people.

The actual parade was crazy. There were so many people! There was one point where I didn't think I would make it because we were running for about a mile. But then things slowed down and it was great. The girls did amazing! 6 miles - crazy!!

Anyways, below are some pictures. We really did have a great time - but, I was ready to get home to my family!

Bree and I mostly hung out with Elizabeth and Brielle at Disneyland - as well as Sabrina, Sam, Will & Taylor. They took good care of us.

This day we had band fest (performed our field show) and went and toured some floats getting ready for the parade. The cars were super pretty with all the roses on them.

The girls were pretty wiped out on the way home. When we got there, they enjoyed some down time.
