Wednesday we took Dusty's brother Chade to the MTC. We are so proud of him and his decision to serve a mission - even though he'll be missed. Jack is really close to his Uncle Chade and had a really hard time when it was time to see him leave. He kept saying he didn't want to wait until he is 8 to see him again... But, we are happy for him and know he'll touch the people of Iowa by teaching them the gospel.

It was so sad and sweet to see how upset Jack and Dylan got. They are both so tender hearted. But what a good example Chade will be for them. Did it make you think about when Jack would leave on his mission? That kind of freaked me out a little bit when I thought of my boys leaving.
