Busy, Busy

So much has been going on lately - we don't have Internet yet so I can't post pictures yet. But, just a quick synopsis... Today Myles is 6 months old - wow, that went by fast!! On the 15th, we celebrated Dustys 30th birthday with a surprise party - and he was very surprised! Thanks to all our wonderful friends who came and helped us celebrate! Last week we got to spend time with our great friend Pancho. We always love having him here as we feel he is part of the family. Sunday, we had a great fathers day. I am very thankful for all the dads in my life!!
Anyways, that about sums it up. I will post pictures soon - hopefully by Friday.

Home Update

Just a quick update... We are in our new home and LOVE it!! We're in a bit of a mess, but that's expected I guess. Tonight will be our first night sleeping here so we'll see how that goes. Jack and Bree have already found friends next door - they've been playing all day with them. We are truely blessed to be here. And, we need to thank all our wonderful friends and family for helping us move - we love and appreciate you all.

Hooray!!!

Tomorrow is moving day - hooray! It's been a bit of a hassel getting into our new home, but hopefully tomorrow will go smoothly. Thank you to everyone who has helped us these past few weeks. We are very grateful to all of you.

American Idol

So, I can't believe I haven't posted anything yet about American Idol. The finale was two weeks ago - and, yes I am a total geek!! I never used to like American Idol, but Dusty and I started watching it a few years ago (me more than him). But, this year has been my favorite. I had liked Adam Lambert from his auditions - he has such a great voice!! He has done theater so I'm guessing that's why I liked him so much. But really, I never heard him sing off key - and, he was a great performer.

Well, we had our annual AI party at my mom's (I already admitted to being a geek...). I was SO STINKING MAD!! Adam came in 2nd next to Kris Allen. It was a bit of a shock. Kris has an ok voice, but nothing like Adam's. Anyways, I'm sure most of you are wondering why I care so much - it's just one of my guilty addictions I guess :)

Family Update

*SPOILER: LONG POST*
I haven't really had a computer to download my pictures lately, so I borrowed Dusty's laptop so I could get the pictures of what we have been up to lately. So, this could be a very long post.

I had my guard banquet on May 8th - it turned out really nice. Last year I thought I was done, so it was a very emotional time. This time around was a lot easier. I always give my seniors blankets, and they turned out great. I always spend a bit on my captains, but I thought their gifts were so cute. I thought I'd post a few pictures. I did bears, pictures, and a cool sign for them.Then Bree had her dance recital on the 15th. She has loved taking dance this year, and I was so proud of her. She wasn't only dancing up on stage, but singing too!! I really need to get her in theater classes...The next week was her preschool graduation. It was super cute. She absolutely loved preschool and her teacher, Miss Nikki! I was so happy we had her in this preschool this year.

On Friday, Jack had his dance program at school. His class did their performance to batman - and, he was so good! He kept on tempo and step the entire time - GREAT JOB JACK! He was so happy that Grandpa Rupp could come watch him - not so happy that mom was there (I think I make him nervous!).
And finally, Myles officially rolled over today! Hooray! He couldn't quite figure out what to do with his head, but he really did roll over. Dusty and I have been working on it for weeks - so, good job Myles.
Dusty and I are doing good - nothing too new here. We are still waiting to move into the new home. My in-laws have been so great with us - but, I am sure they are ready to have their home back :)

We've Moved!!!

So, we have officially moved - but, not to our new home yet. We don't close on our new home until May 29th, so we are living with Dusty's mom and dad - which we are SO thankful for! We will be here for about 2 weeks.
The move out of our house went so smoothly, thanks to our amazing parents and some amazing friends. We were truly blessed to have everyone come help us on Monday that we almost finished that day. We just had a little more to do Tuesday and we were done. So, hopefully the move to the new house will go just as well :)
Anyways, if I don't blog for a while, that's why. But, my in-laws are so great and let me use their computer whenever I want! Anyways, thanks to all of you that helped us last week - we really do owe you guys!!

Happy Birthday Jack!

Today my baby turns 7 - well, I guess he's not a baby anymore! I just can't believe that he is 7 already - wow how time flies...

He is such a special boy and we love him so much! We are SO lucky to have him in our family.
