Dr. Seuss' Birthday

Today is Dr. Seuss' Birthday. I was able to go to Jack's class and read "Hop on Pop" to his class. The kids were so cute - they laughed a lot, which is good. See, I kindof have a HUGE fear of younger kids so I was very nervous about doing this. But, they were wonderful. When Jack got home from school, he said "thanks for reading Hop on Pop to my class mom". It was very sweet of him!! I'm so glad he likes reading (most of the time). And, apparently this is his favorite Dr. Seuss book. Mine is "Oh The Places You Will Go". I read it to my guard girls every year at the last show for winter guard. We all end up crying - a whole lot!!

Anyways, on Friday we had our friend Meagan over for the day. Bree loved having her over and they had fun playing dress ups. It cracks me up when Bree likes to put the wigs on! Very cute...

Randomness

I've been downloading pictures today and just thought I'd post some of them so you know what I've been up to lately - not a whole lot other than color guard! Things have been a bit crazy lately, and I am VERY tired, worn out, angry, annoyed, etc... I'm sure some of it is just that I had a baby 2 months ago and I am feeling the effects of it. But, either way, I sure have been ornery lately.

Anyways, here is a cute picture of all my guys - aren't they cute?

Here is Chelsey, one of my guard girls, with Bree. Bree went to the show with us on Saturday and was very attached to Chels. On the way home (11:30pm), Bree fell asleep - she was exhausted!

And, since I can't find a video to post of my girls' show this year, here is a picture from their Payson show. This is their ending pose! They have a really fun show this year - I think it's my favorite one I've done.

Guard Show

So, I finally found a copy of my girls performance this past Saturday at the Payson Competition, but I can't figure out how to post it here from facebook. So, if anyone is interested in seeing it, go to my facebook page...
I'm also hosting a competition at American Fork High School on the 7th of March starting at 5pm. When it gets closer, I'll let you all know what time my groups perform in case you want to come:)

Valentine's Day Pictures

I had a friend of mine, Nicole, take pictures of Myles for me so I could surprise Dusty with them for Valentine's Day. She did an amazing job and he loved them. Bree's Field Trip

I was also able to go with Bree's preschool to a dentist office last Thursday. It was a quick trip, but they had fun anyways.

And, Dusty and I went out with some friends last weekend so we had Kelsy come and watch Bree. She LOVES and ADORES Kelsy. Harley (Kelsy's niece) came too, and Bree had so much fun with her. Kara, Tracy and Stephanie came later to help Kelsy cut out Tulle for our color guard show - and, as you can see they had a lot of fun playing in the cut out pieces...

Jack's Field Trip

So, I'm a bit behind on this one - but, Jack had a field trip on January 30th and I was able to go with them. I haven't been able to do much with his class this year because I've been so sick with the pregnancy. So, I jumped at the chance to go with him this time! They went to the Bean Museum at BYU and had a lot of fun. Here are a couple pictures of him with classmates.
